The public comment period is a key step in the regional standardisation process. It ensures that draft standards reflect the priorities, practices, and capacities of our national stakeholders across government, industry, and civil society. Your input will help ensure the standard is relevant, practical, and supports trade, food safety, and economic development in our region.
Why Your Feedback Matters:
As part of the national consultation process, your feedback will be collected and considered for submission to the PISC Technical Committee responsible for this standard. Comments received may result in revisions or clarifications before the standard is finalised. This is your opportunity to influence a regional standard that could guide production, processing, or trade in cassava across Pacific Island Countries.
