EL-031 Alarm and Electronic Security Systems and TM-011 Engineered Timber Products Standards Proposed for Withdrawal

Overview

We are considering the future status of the  following standards and are seeking your feedback to help determine our next steps.

These standards are being reviewed in conjunction with Standards Australia and may be proposed for withdrawal due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • The corresponding international standard has been withdrawn
  • A newer version of the standard is already available, making the existing edition superseded and duplicative.

However, if these standards are still important to your work, or if you believe they should be retained for any reason, we want to hear from you. Your input will help ensure that our decisions reflect the needs and priorities of those who rely on these standards.

If you believe a standard should be retained but find it outdated, please share your feedback. We can propose to revise a standard if it remains important and relevant, so your insights are critical in determining whether an update is needed.

To support your review, we’ve made the full text of each standard available on our website for the duration of the consultation. This gives you full access to the documents and context needed to provide informed feedback.

By clicking on the designation of a standard in the list below, you’ll be taken to a new page in our webshop where you can view the full details of the standard.
