TE-003 Electromagnetic Compatibility Standards Proposed for Reconfirmation

Overview

Overview

We are considering the future status of the  following standards and are seeking your feedback to help determine our next steps.

Standards New Zealand and Standards Australia periodically review joint AS/NZS standards that are over 5 years old to ensure they remain fit for purpose and meet industries’ needs. As part of this process, a number of standards have been proposed for review by Standards Australia that we now need your feedback on. If you use these standards, we need you to tell us:

  • Should these be reconfirmed, revised or withdrawn?
  • Are they still fit for purpose?
  • Do you use alternatives to meet your compliance needs?

Before any decision is made across both Australia and New Zealand, we factor in industry interest, even if you work in industries relevant to the topic of the standard but don’t use the standards, your input is helpful in forming an understanding of their place and value to your industry.

Reviewing aged standards is important and sensible approach to ensuring standards remain fit for purpose and continue to bring value in guiding good practice.

To support your review, we’ve made the full text of each standard available on our website for the duration of the consultation. This gives you full access to the documents and context needed to provide informed feedback.

By clicking on the designation of a standard in the list below, you’ll be taken to a new page in our webshop where you can view the full details of the standard.

Please provide feedback around these proposed reconfirmations in the form that follows. Thank you.
